Want a summer filled with music and fun? Try Cuts DJ Academy DJ summer program. Unleash your kids’ inner music star with our 10 day / 2 week Kids DJ Summer Camp held at Cuts DJ Academy. Our exciting 10 day DJ camps will have your kids beat-matching, mixing, scratching, and DJing like a pro in a short amount of time. Class days are
Week One: Monday - Friday July 3rd - July 7th
Week Two: Monday - Friday July 1Oth - July 14th.

As crucial as it is to learn their equipment, being a great DJ takes more than reading an instruction manual. Our celebrity instructors will teach your child a wide range of DJ techniques, such as mixing sounds, sampling, matching beats, and much more. Cuts DJ Academy will give your child the power to translate the musical ideas in their heads to real-life songs. Your child will even be able to pull those techniques together to make their own mixes during their time at camp.

Cus DJ Academy Curriculum

How To Count Bars

This class will introduce the concept of bar counting and give students an opportunity to try various exercises to count bars of 4. This skill is a crucial to the art of deejaying.

How To Release Music On The One

The class will demonstrate how to locate the one count in a song and how to use it as the release point in a transition. Students must complete this video before advancing to the next lesson.

Cuts DJ Academy Curriculum

Baby Scratching

This class will focus on the baby scratch technique and how to use it to transition into a new song.

Mixing 2 Songs Together

This class will show how to blend two instrumental songs. Students will be able to follow step-by- step directions to practice mixing songs.
