DJ Kashief Music Scholarship Award
DJ Kashief was a well know inner city DJ with tremendous talent & was well on his way to stardum when on September 10th, 2000 Kevin was involved in a terrible car accident that took his life & started his legacy. DJ Kashief's legacy will forever live through the walls & halls of Cuts DJ Academy. In honor of DJ Kashief's memory we have established this Music Scolarship Award & will use this Scholarship to help keep Kashief's music dream alive.

How This Scholarship Can Benefit You
Cuts DJ Academy Scholars receive an honorarium of up to $20,000 per DJ certification plus special privileges as outlined below.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Must Be 16 Years Old Or Older
- California resident
- United States citizens, permanent residents, or California Dream Act students
- Demonstrated academic excellence (strength and breadth of your middle or high school academic program, grades and other academic criteria)
- Grant awards are based on financial need.
SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS USE
- Any music equipment purchaed inside Cuts DJ Academy physical location
- Scholarship funds are not considered cash & can not be used for any other items outside of Cuts DJ Academy physical location.
- Scholarship funds can only be used for 1 certification or equipment transaction. Any remaining funds of scholarship funds cannot be used for any other purchase.
