Mayor Steve Jones Music Scholarship
The Mayor Steve Jones Music Scholarship was established to provide assistants for a student in financial need. A variety of factors will be taken into consideration when our committee reviews the applications. These factors may include academic achievement, financial need, residency and talent. Students who receive a scholarship from Cuts DJ Academy are expected to participate in studio/private lessons, our ensembles, and other various activities at Cuts DJ Academy.

How This Scholarship Can Benefit You
Cuts DJ Academy Scholars receive an honorarium of up to $25,000 per DJ certification plus special privileges as outlined below.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Must Be 16 Years Old Or Older
- California resident
- United States citizens, permanent residents, or California Dream Act students
- Demonstrated academic excellence (strength and breadth of your middle or high school academic program, grades and other academic criteria)
- Grant awards are based on financial need
SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS USE
- Any music equipment purchaed inside Cuts DJ Academy physical location
- Scholarship funds are not considered cash & can not be used for any other items outside of Cuts DJ Academy physical location.
- Scholarship funds can only be used for 1 certification or equipment transaction. Any remaining funds of scholarship funds cannot be used for any other purchase.
